| 7:48 pm | Player Information Name: Crystal Character Information Name: Tara Maclay Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Point in Canon: Post 6x19 "Seeing Red" Age: 21 Personality: Tara is quirky, funny, and sweet, arguably the nicest ever of the Scoobies. She generally goes along with the group, but is also the one who will often speak up if something is wrong, or shouldn't be done. It sometimes takes a few times before she'll actually step up and stop something, generally after she's hurt in some way. Tara has a strong moral code and is sometimes shy, but when around people she knows she tries to tell jokes (that they don't usually get) and even has a habit of teasing Spike. Brief History: (In your own words) After losing her mother when she was 17, Tara went through a rebellious period, after which she came out prior to her freshman year in college. She's a natural witch, having received her abilities through her blood from her mom, and has been studying for a long time. By the time she meets Willow Rosenberg, she's still extremely shy, but seeks out the redhead in order to work a spell with her that might be able to restore the town's voices. Over the next few weeks, the two witches grow closer together, and eventually become girlfriends. They stay together for the next two years, minus a few months after Willow begins to overuse - and misuse - magic. After the two get back together, Tara is killed by a stray bullet from Warren Mears' gun. Powers/ Abilities: Tara is an accomplished and exceptionally knowledgeable "natural" witch with an inherited talent to manipulate magical forces, allowing her to: * Perform spells and rituals alone or with the aid of others * Project and perform spectacular magical feats such as aura-reading, telekinesis and levitation by sheer force of will * Fluency in Latin.
